About Jaz

Jaz lives in Peterborough (Nogojiwanong) and is completing an interdisciplinary PhD at Trent University.

They serve as a Governor on the Trent University Board of Governors, they are a Research Associate with the Trent Center for Aging and Society, and President of the Trent Graduate Student's Association.

Jaz is actively involved in their community, running as the Green Party Federal Candidate for Peterborough in the 2025 Federal Election, and sitting on the program advisory committee for ReFrame Film Festival 2026.

Jaz teaches pottery at the Gather Studio, and at the Kawartha Potters Guild.
